Castle Preview: Have Faith, Trust Kate In The Squab And The Quail

After the bombings in Boston, ABC decided last week that the episodes Still and The Squab And The Quail would swap place in the broadcasting schedule. Still was first aired as tonight's episode of Castle, but now Still will be broadcast next week Monday and is replaced by The Squab And The Quail.

In tonight's episode we will see a very jealous Richard Castle. Although he claims he isn't jealous of the inventor, innovator and billionaire bachelor Erik Vaughn. Vaughn's live is in danger after one of his colleagues is murdered. Kate Beckett will be assigned to solve the case and to protect his live.

Beckett falls for the charms of Vaughn, played by Ioan Gruffudd (Mister Fantastic in The Fantastic Four movies, Ringer). He is like an über version of Castle. Beckett can't help to be charmed by him.

We are curious how Castle will handle this, now he is together with Beckett. Castle was clearly jealous before of all the guys who got any attention by Beckett, but since they are together only Beckett had to be jealous in Cloudy With A Chance Of Murder.

A lot of Caskett fans were pretty upset when they saw Erik Vaughn make a move to kiss detective Beckett, but we have no reason to believe Beckett will cheat on Castle. First of all, Beckett isn't the type of girl who would cheat on anyone easily. She for example broke up with Demming first, before she wanted to join Castle in his Hampton's house for the summer after season 2. And it would seem totally out of character if Beckett would cheat on Castle with someone who she only would know a few days. If there will be even a kiss between Vaughn and Beckett, it probably will be somehow necessary for solving the case. But we think they won't even kiss, as Beckett will pull back. So we would like so say to all the Castle fans: Have faith, trust Kate.

Next to Ioan Gruffudd, Russ Bain, Andy Wagner and Jamie Hill will guest star on tonight's episode, written by Jason Wilborn and Adam Frost. Paul Holahan has directed The Squab And The Quail.
